Discover IT offers four standard Unix Web Site hosting plans, two standard Windows 2003 Web Site hosting plans, two Virtual Private Server hosting plans, and three Custom Windows Web hosting plans which are distinguished by the following features:
| Disk storage | The disk storage (in MBs) allocated to your Web Site on the Web server. |
| Data transfer | The maximum permissible amount of data (in MBs) accessed from your Web Site per month. |
| POP3 accounts | Master email account + additional e-Mail accounts which can be assigned unique ids and passwords to ensure privacy. |
| e-Mail forwarding | Provides ability to forward a specific e-Mail address to another account. For example, assigned by your 'dial-up' ISP. |
| e-Mail autoresponders | Automated, customisable e-Mail replies triggered by e-Mails received at specific e-Mail addresses. |
| FrontPage 2000 extensions | Required when a Web Site has been developed using Microsoft FrontPage 2000. |
| Own CGI directory | Allows installation of custom scripts to implement Web Site interactive functions additional to the standard 'Forms' script included with the 'Starter' Plan. |
| Anonymous FTP | Allows visitors to upload/download files without a unique id/password. |
| Excite! search engine | Provides advanced search capabilities for your Web Site based on the Excite! search engine. |
| SSL secure server | Enables your Web Site to collect data such as credit card information in a secure environment. Data is sent over the Internet in encrypted form. A Secure ID must be purchased for your Web server. This provides authentication and encryption 'keys' for your Web Site. |
| Shopping cart support | Enables the creation of a 'virtual shopping cart' that allows visitors to select 'items' for purchase from your Web Site and then 'check-out'. |
| Audio & video streaming | Enables delivery of 'streamed' (continuous) audio and video content. |
| SQL database support | Enables the creation of fast, fully functional Web Site-to-database(s) connection(s). |
